Team Christmas Party in Berlin: An Original Activity
Christmas Team Activity in Berlin: An End-of-Year Party Out of the Ordinary
December, with its Christmas trees, garlands and presents, is fast approaching. For many of us, this time of year holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait for it to arrive. And if the snow makes an appearance, then it’s guaranteed magic. What makes this season so magical is the chance to let go of the pressure of work. You and your colleagues have achieved your goals, so it is a great opportunity to take part in a good Christmas team activity in Berlin. There is no shortage of conventional team building options, but we can’t resist the idea of introducing you to our treasure hunt in Berlin: “The Nefertiti Affair”. It is an outdoor escape game on foot, lasting 2 to 4 hours, in the centre of Berlin, for teams of 2 to 6 players: €79 per team.
Why Choose The Nefertiti Affair for Your Christmas Party?
Restaurants, bars, Christmas markets: let’s be honest, you already know these classics. If these activities are popular, and will continue to be, it is because they deliver, without any surprises, exactly what they exist for. What you know less well is a bit of change, and the chance to work through puzzles together in one huge investigation. Thinking as a team changes the dynamic: extrovert or introvert, everyone gets involved and does their bit to move things forward. Some analyse the objects in the mysterious bag, others observe the surroundings, and others still organise the notes to bring the information together. In May 2025, a team of detectives in perfect sync solved our outdoor escape game in Berlin in two hours, moving forward together through the difficulties. Isn’t that how you would like to see your teams work together?
What Sets The Nefertiti Affair Apart?
Your team is unique, and so is what you accomplish every day: why not carry on with an original activity in the heart of Berlin? What sets us apart is, first of all, a passionate Game Master, and an adventure that our team designed from start to finish to give you a generous amount of playing time, at least two hours, at an affordable price. It is also an original game, built around the objects in a mysterious sealed bag whose contents are revealed as you make your way through the city. The Nefertiti Affair does not rely on an app: you have to observe your surroundings and work out how they interact with the items in the bag. Finally, it is a game with a double objective: to recover the stolen bust and identify the buyer. Players who have solved the case often talk about it, like Luisa, who highlights the originality of the game mechanics in her Tripadvisor review.
An Outdoor Activity in the Heart of Berlin
What gives our outdoor escape game in Berlin that little extra is its rich route through an enchanting setting. The light at the end of the day, combined with landmark buildings and majestic architecture, makes it a journey into another era. This setting is not just there for atmosphere: you will need to observe it and decipher it to solve The Nefertiti Affair. It is the season of Christmas markets and, once the case is solved, you may not even have to walk to reach one of the most iconic in Berlin. Christmas market or not, the final revelations of our investigation take place on one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin. Thanks to Simon, one of our first participants, who suggested ending the investigation in this beautiful spot.
What Does the Activity Involve in Practice?
Our outdoor escape game in Berlin is designed for teams of 2 to 6 players, and we offer two departures a day, at 10 am and 3 pm. The 3 pm slot is probably the best suited: depending on how you perform, it will take you between 2 and 4 hours to solve the investigation, which means that by 7 pm at the latest you are free to continue your adventure in Berlin. The game is available from start to finish in German, French and English, which is ideal for multicultural teams.
The first step is to choose your time slot and book. You can contact us if you have any questions or if you would like to play at a different time. Once your booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email.
On the day, you meet the Game Master at Alexanderplatz at the agreed time: this is your starting point. Once you have collected the equipment, you are completely on your own (the Game Master remains reachable if needed). We always get the impression that players never appreciate this independence as much as when they solve the Polaroid puzzle to make their way through the streets of Berlin. You then meet the Game Master again for the final revelations and to hand back the equipment.
The Nefertiti Affair costs €79 per team of 2 to 6 players, or about €13 per player for a team of six. You will find all the practical details in our practical information.
Organising Your Team Christmas Activity: What Is the Right Timing?
December is a period of high demand: we recommend booking a few weeks in advance. We offer only two departures a day, which allows us to give your team our full attention. If demand is high, you may not find the time slot you want on your preferred date.
